Can someone please tell me why kids refuse to sleep in when there is no school? Every school day is a challenge...first, just getting the kids up and out of bed is not easy, but also dressed, fed and out the door for school...that starts early due to too many snow days! Why, when there is no school, do they decide to wake up BEFORE 7am??? I'm looking forward to this day of fighting, whining and being their servant for the day...NOT! I'm going to be especially strict and boring today, so that maybe on Monday they will be excited to get up and go to school!

I can relate all too well. I guess your boys are getting too old to trick into thinking it's a school day... even my girls have caught on. Drives me insane.
Sounds like a good game plan! At least when they are teenagers you can count on them sleeping in!!
